Charlie's Story
<------This was Charlie's first ever single cover
Charlie was born on the 17th of May 1998 in Boston. He grew up in a well off house, spending his time gaming, playing basketball and rapping. He would rap over songs he heard on the radio while practicing. When he was just 15 years old, his schools music teacher heard him rapping a song he had written and asked him to perform for the school. He accepted and the school went wild, his flow was fast, new and unheard before. After this he performed a few songs here and there. On one such occasion a representative from Capitol Records came to see him perform. They met and instantly began talks for a 3 project deal. He produced Forgotten, Rager and The Ending for capitol however when his contract was up, he had no interest in returning. By this point, there was a lot of hype around him and a lot of record labels were fighting over him. However, Travis Scott came forward with an offer to sign with his "Cactus Jack" record label and collab with him on his upcoming album ASTROWORLD. Travis Scott was one of his major influences so this was an offer he could not refuse. To date, he has produced one album "Split Personalities" and has an upcoming album "Forgotten" coming out later this year. He signed a deal with OFF-WHITE in late 2018 and has had a constant supply of merchandise, selling out and very sought after since. His latest line brought us the "SEEING THINGS" collection, featured above.

Cactus Jack
Est 2017
Travis Scott created Cactus Jack Records because he was bored of having to follow rules set on him by Capitol. He wanted to create his own sound, with artists he liked, artists he wanted and he wanted to sign artists who he could benefit. To date, there are only 3 artists signed to Cactus Jack; Sheck Wes, Don Toliver and Charlie Wyre. Travis handpicked these three artists because he believes they are the forerunners for the future of rap. Speaking on his decision in January 2019 he said "These kids have so much potential man, the sound they're making is the kind of stuff that me and my team vibe to in the car, on the tour bus, in the studio, basically all the time and I mean, if I rock with them that much, of course I'm going to sign them".

“I didn’t come to be known, I came to be remembered”
